About the teacher/ contact me/ Schedule

This is my 11th year teaching. I love my job with a passion, and couldn't imagine doing anything else! I truly enjoy getting up at 5:30am every morning to go to work. I expect 3 things of all my students. It is our class motto. "Be respectful, be responsible, be the best you can be". Previously, I taught transition at Harmony for 4 years. This will be my sixth year teaching 5th grade at Harmony. Outside of the classroom: I was born and raised in Lexington (sorry no UofL fans allowed in my room:). I moved here when I married my husband, Anthony 10 years ago. We live in Louisville with our 3 and 4 year old sons, our beagle Gracie, and fat cat Phoebe.  In my free time I love college football, painting, reading, anything outdoors, and of course the beach!
